Pierre Trudeau’s law student, Marxist Bernard Landry, mobilized the rioters
Events:
11 December 1962
1000 to 3000 students, most from UdeM and secondary schools, burned Gordon in effigy near the “cruciform” Place Ville Marie not far from the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. Landry gave an interview to the press afterward implying he had made headway with Gordon who now agreed to give better jobs to French Canadians in CN; and Landry referred to this prospect as a change from the past “two centuries”.
Landry: future leader of the communist PQ; author of books and articles advocating North American (free trade) or single economic area, or NAU; 1985 old Le Devoir news clip in which minister Landry is interviewed and reveals the Quebec Summit is negotiations to annex Canada, merge the continent. Gilles Duceppe in Le Devoir 2005, leader of the Bloc in the federal level which seconds the Quebec PQ, writes de facto about the regional union.
Notes: I need to find proof that Landry was Trudeau’s law student at the time this happened. I need to link up the whole communist thing back to Trudeau.

TO DO: I need to find out who organized this, and if they're red, put it down to Communist mobilization, move it up to the other widget. ADD Hull, if I keep this category: https://thedonaldgordonincident.net/la-presse-10-dec-1962/
