Balcer wants CN to review the case of the French Canadians
Three main facts were added to the “Gordon Incident” yesterday, during the day.
• The Transport Minister, Mr. Léon Balcer, has asked Canadian National to review the status of French Canadians in the railway company.
• The Federation of St. John the Baptist Societies of Quebec has lauded the gesture of the Quebec Members who united across party lines to issue a joint declaration of principles on the Gordon Incident.
• An English-speaking Montrealer, Mr. Warren Street, has launched a campaign to oust Gordon from his job, to prove to French Canadians that not all English [sic] Canadians share Gordon’s views.
Mr. Balcer
The Transport minister, Mr. Balcer, said yesterday that he had asked the management office of Canadian National to review the status of French Canadians in the State railway corporation.
He told journalists that the president of CN, Mr. Donald Gordon, had agreed to the suggestion and that the question will be discussed at the next meeting, which will be held in Montreal, shortly.
The SJBS
Moreover, the Federation of Saint John the Baptist Societies of Quebec is delighted with the position taken by federal MPs from the province of Quebec, who “showed obvious signs of political maturity, last weekend, in agreeing to hold a non-partisan meeting to discuss a political question of interest to the whole population of Quebec”. The FSSJB moreover encourages the Quebec provincial Members to duplicate the gesture whenever the interests of the province and its population are at play.
The FSSJB of Quebec also supports the idea of instituting a permanent French-Canadian secretariat. This secretariat will gather documentation and conduct research the conclusions of which it will place at the disposal of French Canadian Members whenever it is necessary to be unanimous on a question.
An Anti-Gordon Anglophone
Lastly, an English speaking Montrealer has just launched a unique campaign.
He, as an English [sic] Canadian wants to have Mr. Donald Gordon fired from his job as president of CN. And to back up his demand, Mr. Warren Street is currently circulating a motion which he hopes will round up 25,000 names.
He is counting on merchants in particular to present his motion to the public, inviting everyone interested to communicate with him at his P.O. Box 1385, Place d’Armes.
“I am organizing this campaign,” he explains, “because I have been outraged by the remarks of Mr. Gordon on the subject of French Canadians, and I want the public to know that not all English [sic] Canadians think the way Mr. Gordon does. We, like you, want to dispel the chill that has always separated us.”

Notes: It seems to me that the idea of the secretariat is tantamount to treating the French Canadians as a minority again. The whole Donald Gordon extended episode underscores the idea that French Canadians (IN CANADA) are a MINORITY; thus blurs out of existence the fact that legal federalism makes each founding group into both a majority and a constitutional unit. The Gordon Incident therefore is being used to reinforce the victimized “minority” mindset. The “power” of the helpless victim, thus created, can therefore be exercised by those need it, but for different purposes.
I am betting the self-serving Mr. Warren Street is a Jew in wholesale, jumping in to shove the knife as deeply as he can; while collecting merchants’ letterheads in his P.O. Box so he can expose them to his phony “patriotic” sales job.
“Not ALL” “English” Canadians think the way Gordon does; implies SOME do. This has to be a Jew in wholesale shoving the knife into Canada via the “English” Canadians while using the incident to do business, i.e., build up a little “merchant” mailing list of suckers who think he’s pro-French Canadians.
The Communists put the French and the “English” at each other’s throats (to the benefit of the Jews), and the Jews run the campaigns on the side. We saw the same thing with in the 1990s with that Jew on the radio who thank God moved to Ontario, what was the bugger’s name? Nasty, foul mouthed, rabble-rousing sonofabitch.
